Sacred Rituals

What is a Puja?

A puja is a prayer ceremony performed by monks for specific purposes — such as removing obstacles, healing, prosperity, protection, or dedicating merit to the deceased.

In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, pujas are powerful spiritual practices that invoke the blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. When you request a puja through SGB Society, the ceremony is performed by monks at Segyu Gaden Phodrang Monastery, who have undergone years of rigorous training in these sacred rituals.
